Cheese Bread

Cheese bread mix for preparing Brazilian bread. Consumed as a breakfast, a side dish, or as an afternoon snack.

CHEESE BREAD MIX        400 g

Eggs                                160 g (3 pcs)        

Cheese (grated)               160 g

Oil                                    60 ml

Water                               160 ml




In a suitable bowl pour the cheese bread mix, add the eggs, the water and the oil. Stir at a slow speed for 2 - 3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Add the grated cheese to the mixture and mix again with for 2 - 3 minutes at a slow speed. Allow the dough to proof for about 15 minutes at room temperature. With pre-greased hands, form around 30 small balls and place them on a tray greased with oil or over baking paper. The balls are baked at 210°C for 17 - 20 minutes. The cheese bread gets yellow cheese consistency, crunchy crust, pleasant flavour and aroma.
